standard specification


CONSTRUCTION Hull & Deck


Handlaminated GRP; white (isophtalic) gelcoat with black decorative bands. First layers: laminated with isopthalic polyester resin. Optimal strength/weight ratio achieved by the use of unidirectional, biaxial and triaxial glass fibres; sandwich construction above the waterline; core material is PVC (closed cells); reinforcement provided with stainless steel bonded with structural glue to the hull transferring load from mast and keel; handlaminated longitudinals. Stress areas with fixed winches and major deck fittings are reinforced with the replacement of PVC core with plywood or aluminium.

Joining of Deck to Hull Hull and deck are bonded together with Methyl-Methacrylate structural glue. The (teak) toe rail is bolted through deck and hull flange.


DECK EQUIPMENT


Chain plates in stainless steel; self-draining anchor/chain locker; 8 stainless steel stanchion bases; composite sliding; companionway hatch with garage for optional sprayhood.


Cockpit

8 mm teak ribs/massive on cockpit seats; side trims; dry stowage locker on stbd side (cover is integrated in the cockpit bench); storage locker in the mid aft cockpit; outboard drained gas bottle (ps) compartment;

GRP steering pedestal forming a footrest; rudder stock head for the installation of the emergency tiller;

single lever engine control; recessed engine control panel.


Mast

Sparcraft Performance; silver anodized aluminium keel;

stepped fractional mast, S385 section. Double swept back (approx. 20°) spreaders in aluminium; the mast step bolted to the bottom reinforcement/stainless steel grid.


Boom

Sparcraft's silver anodized aluminium boom; two (internal) reef lines for single line reefing system;

one clew outhaul device; The gas (or spring) pressured boom vang with an outer purchase block system.

Standing rigging

Discontinuous stainless steel rigging in wire (with stainless steel turnbuckles); mechanical backstay adjuster/ tensioner.


Running rigging

All halyards, reef lines, tensioners and control lines are led to the cockpit (winches). The standard mast includes:

INTERIOR: Furniture, Inventory Standard interior layout (A): the owner's cabin, the aft cabin and the Head unit.

Interior Joinery: marine grade waterproof core, with the selected SAPELI Mahogany. All the main bulkheads are bonded to sides of hull with the use of glass fibre and polyester resin.

Top-sides and visible hull sides are covered with mahogany planking ribs or foam backed sky. Invisible hull sides, bottom, bilge etc. are topcoated.

Solid mahogany is used for door frames, handrails etc. All the mahogany surface is covered with varnish and turned into satin finish.

All side windows (portlights) are fitted with curtains.


Cushions

Cushions are made in high quality foam with a beige upholstery.



OWNER'S (FORWARD) CABIN


Large double berth towards fwd; 2-part mattress; access to stowage lockers under the berth; shelves above the bed along hull port & stbd side; 2 double wardrobes (port & stbd side) with shelves and hangers.


AFT CABIN (PORT)


Double berth with shelf above the bed along the hull side; 2-part mattress; large hanging locker with double door and shelf above;

fresh water tank under the berth. AFT HEAD UNIT

GRP wash-basin; shower area with curtain; hot & cold fresh water mixing tap; shower directly drained by electric pump; water-flushed manual pump marine toilet; front opening double locker with mirrored doors, placed above the wash-basin/toilet; wet locker for drying of wet sailing cloth, with additional space for placing of waste holding tank; waste holding tank (app. 42 l) fitted with tank level watch; shower grating.


SALOON


Large sofas on each hull side; foldable and removable saloon table; backrests and seats in foam with pilot berths; stowage lockers with doors and a bookshelf above each sofa; handrails mounted on top-sides; stowage compartments under the seats; stowage space behind the backrests.


GALLEY


L-shaped galley; rectangular sinks in stainless steel; mixing tap for hot & cold fresh water under pressure; gas stove (on gimballs) with an oven and two burners; storage lockers with shelves and doors, placed above the work top along the hull side; storage with shelf and door, placed under the sinks; app. 80 L GRP refrigerator, 12V.




COMPANIONWAY


Gas springed openable stairs as the engine compartment cover. ENGINE COMPARTMENT

Sound insulated with high density foam material; easily accessible by opening the companionway stairs and/or by removing the side (provided in aft cabin/aft head unit);

provided with automatic fire extinguisher.


Sanitary systems; discharge systems

System for hot & cold fresh water under pressure; ventilated fresh water tank with a total capacity of app. 180 l with inspection hole/cover;

tank level gauge, placed on the electric switchboard; fresh water deck inlet on transom stern, port side.

Mixing fresh water taps are fitted in the head unit and in the galley. Shower with hot & cold fresh water can be fitted in cockpit (stern).

Hot water tank (35 l), heated by engine cooling (fresh) water or by integrated heater run with 230V shore power.

Shower basin is drained directly into the sea with the use of the electric shower pump. Electric shower pump is operated by manual switch positioned in the shower compartment.


THE MAIN COMPONENTS OF MACHINERY


Yanmar YM30CE SD20 ( sail drive); Two blade fixed propeller; alternator 60A/12V; cooling sea water filter.

As a standard, engine control panel incorporates the rpm meter, the acoustic alarms and the hour counter. Engine control panel is placed in a recess and protected with a plexi glass cover.

Gear/gas lever control is placed in the cockpit nearby the helmsman.


SYSTEMS FOR MACHINERY MAIN COMPONENTS


1 fuel-oil tank with a total capacity of app. 110 l; tank inspection hole/cover tank level gauge, placed on the electric switchboard;

fuel-oil deck inlet on transom stern, stbd side; fuel-oil filter with the water separator; automatic fire extinguisher in the engine compartment.


SHIP SYSTEMS


Bilge systems

Electric bilge pump for the central bilge, operated by automatic and/or manual switch; electric bilge pump for the aft bilge, operated by automatic and/or manual switch.

Hand operated bilge pump is positioned in the cockpit.


ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS


12 V DC SYSTEM

Main switchboard includes: LED indicators and termomagnetic switches; 12 V sockets; 1 x 12V 100 Ah engine start battery;

1 x 12V 170 Ah service battery; battery switch for each battery; safety battery protector anode; emergency start crossover system.
