CONSTRUCTION


Hull & Deck


Vacuum infused epoxy based on vinyl ester;

GRP

white (isophtalic) gelcoat with black decorative bands

Optimal strength/weight ratio - achieved the use of triaxial glass fibres;

20mm sandwich construction above the waterline.

Reinforcement provided by means of  stainless steel bonded with

structural glue to the hull

transferring load from mast and keel.

Stress areas with fixed winches and major deck fittings are reinforced with the replacement of PVC core for plywood or aluminium.


Joining of Deck to Hull


Hull and deck are bonded together with Methyl-Methacrylate structural glue.

The (teak) toe rail is bolted through deck and hull flange.


DECK EQUIPMENT


Stainless steel bow fitting with anchor/chain roller;

chain plates of stainless steel;

self-draining anchor/chain locker;

10 stainless steel stanchion bases.


Cockpit


8 mm teak ribs/massive on cockpit seats and side trims;

two storage lockers in mid cockpit, dedicated life raft for fast deployment;

dry stowage locker on ps & stbd side

Two drained outboard gas bottles (ps) compartment;

rudder stock head (for the installation of the emergency tiller);

single lever engine control;

recessed engine control panel.


Mast


The Sparcraft Performance silver anodized aluminium keel stepped mast fractional.

Triple swept back (approx. 20°) spreaders are in aluminium.

The mast step is bolted to the bottom inox reinforcement


Boom


The Sparcraft's silver anodized aluminium boom;

Two internal reef lines for a single line reefing system;

one clew outhaul device;

the gas pressured boom vang with an outer purchase block system.


Standing rigging


Discontinuous stainless steel rigging in duplex steel rod  includes:

thru deck Harken MKIV Genoa Furler,

Navtec hydraulic backstay, adjuster/tensioner.


Running rigging


All halyards, reef lines, tensioners and control lines are led to the cockpit (winches).

The standard mast includes:

- 1 x main halyard

Stoppers (clutches)

4 Harken halyards: 2-speed winches, sizeed 44.2 and  placed on the cabin roof;

2 Harken primaries/genoa sheets; 2-speed winches, sizeed 53.2;

3 winch handles with the PVC handle holders.

Steering system


Double steering wheel, black anodized aluminium with 800mm leather;

emergency tiller in stainless steel.


Keel


Standard keel II (2,11 m draft) consists of a cast iron fin.

The cast iron fin is protected  with the layer of Epoxy primary protection.

Magnetic compass ;

navigation lights (bow port, bow stbd, stern), running light, anchor light, deck light


Anchoring & Mooring Equipment


Anchor (galvanised), 20 kg;

Eight low profile openable portlights on the sides with two openable portlights in the cockpit;

stainless steel handrails on the cabin roof;

removable bathing ladder made of stainless steel;

INTERIOR: Furniture, Inventory


Standard interior layout (A): 3 cabins and 2 head units.

Interior Joinery: marine grade waterproof core and the selected furniture.

All the main bulkheads are glued to sides of hull and deck.

Invisible sides of hull, bottom, bilge etc. are topcoated.

All the windows are equipped with curtains except aft cabins. The portlights are supplied with push button blinds.

Cushions


Cushions are made in high quality foam with  beige upholstery.


OWNER'S (FORWARD) CABIN


Large double Berth towards fwd;

2 –part mattress;

access to the stowage lockers under the berth;

double wardrobes (port & stbd side) with shelves and hangers;

fresh water tank under the berth.


FORWARD HEAD UNIT


The GRP wash –basin;

Kerrock wash-basin boards;

separate shower area with plexi;

hot & cold fresh water mixing taps; the mixing tap on the port side  with the additional shower unit;

shower directly drained by electric pump;

water-flushed manual pump marine toilet; double locker placed above the wash-basin with front opening and mirrors mounted on fronts; wet locker intended for  drying of the wet sailing cloth;

optional shower  grating in teak.


AFT CABIN (STBD & PORT)


Double berth with shelf above the bed along the side of hull;

2 part-mattress;

Large hanging locker with double door and shelf above;

a seat forming the shoe locker.

For aft cabin stbd: fuel tank is under the berth. For aft cabin port: fresh water tank is under the berth.


AFT HEAD UNIT


The GRP wash-basin;

Kerrock wash basin board;

separate shower area with curtain;

hot & cold fresh water mixing taps;

shower directly drained by electric pump;

water-flushed manual pump marine toilet;

front opening double locker with the mirrored doors placed above toilet/shower seat;

L- shaped galley with ultrapas work top;

Twin rectangular sinks in stainless steel ;

mixing tap for hot&cold fresh water under pressure;

gas stove (on gimbals) comprised of an oven and three burners;

70 L GRP refrigerator & WAECO C50 refrigirator;

storage lockers above the work top along the side of hull with shelves and doors;

storage with a shelf

and door, placed bellow the sinks;

waste basket mounted on storage door;

handrail mounted on bulkhead between the galley and the aft head.


COMPANIONWAY


Gas-springed openable stairs as the engine compartment cover.




ENGINE COMPARTMENT


Sound insulated with a foam material of

high density. Easiliy accessible by opening the companionway stairs and/or removing the side (provided in both aft cabins);

provided with automatic fire extinguisher.


SANITARY SYSTEMS; DISCHARGE SYSTEMS


A system of hot & cold fresh water under pressure;

1 ventilated Fresh water tanks for a total capacity of app. 200 l with the inspection holes/covers;

tank level gauge(s) (placed on electric switchboard).

Mixing fresh water taps are fitted in both head units and in the galley;

shower with hot & cold fresh water can be fitted in cockpit (stern).

Hot water tank heated by integrated heater runs with 220V shore power or by engine cooling (fresh) water.

Shower basins are drained directly into the sea by the electric shower pumps.

The electric shower pumps are operated by manual switch positioned in shower compartments.

As a standard, the engine control panel incorporates the rpm meter, acoustic alarms and an hour counter The engine control panel is placed in a recess and protected with a plexi glass cover

The gear/gas lever control is placed in cockpit nearby the helmsman.

the tank inspection hole/cover with the incorporated fuel float;
